OUR History

In 2007, Nikki Moses recognized a significant shortage of high-quality ABA services in Collin County and founded Consulting 4 the Spectrum to help meet the needs of local children and families. The company became one of the area's earliest ABA providers to employ therapists and offer comprehensive, full-time in-home ABA services.

As the organization grew, Nikki recognized that many children needed additional opportunities to generalize their skills across people, settings, and group environments. In 2009, she opened the company's first ABA treatment center in Frisco, Texas. The center later relocated to Plano in 2013 to continue serving the growing needs of North Texas families.

In January 2017, the organization expanded its early intervention and preparatory group-learning model by formally introducing 4 The Spectrum Prep. The program was created to help young learners develop the communication, social, behavioral, independence, and early academic skills needed to participate more successfully at home, in school, and throughout their communities.

Today, 4 The Spectrum Prep provides center-based, play-based ABA services with a strong emphasis on early intervention, school readiness, parent training, group learning and social development, and private- and public-school consultation, including IEP and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) guidance. Understanding each child's unique strengths and challenges is central to developing individualized treatment plans that support meaningful, lasting progress.

From the beginning, Nikki has believed that quality should always take precedence over quantity. Instead of measuring success by the number of locations or children served, she has remained committed to building a program where every child receives individualized care, every family feels known and supported, and every team member is valued and developed. This intentional approach has resulted in exceptional staff stability, personalized care, and meaningful, long-term relationships with the families we serve.

4 the Spectrum Prep strives to help our families see that anything is possible. Our goal is to make a positive impact on every child’s life. We take a multi-disciplinary and holistic approach to learning. All programs are individualized and we focus primarily on children learning how to be a kid again and connecting with the world. We make learning fun and offer a nurturing environment for children with autism to learn, grow and thrive.

We provide every family the opportunity to access high quality services. We also offer families the opportunity to explore options to help their child succeed through each phase of their life. Our program is tailored to every learner’s unique abilities. Your CHILD COMES FIRST in everything we do.

Although autism is a very complex disorder, we do not lower our expectations. Understanding the challenges are important, but it is equally important to uncover your child’s strengths and unlock their full potential.

What makes us unique is we are a “family owned” ABA provider whose number one priority is serving our families. We provide individualized attention to each of our families whereas they will never feel like a “number,” but an extended part of our family.
