Maria Prieto-Gomez, Lead ABA Therapist
Maria completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development at Texas Woman’s University in 2009. She is currently working on her Master degree in Special Education with a dual specialization in the areas of Autism intervention and behavior and mood disorders. She began working with children and families over six years ago, assisting families with their children and providing tutoring services. She began serving populations with special needs two years ago and since then has provided behavior analytic treatment for children on the Autism Spectrum Disorders. She currently implements behavior intervention programs for school classrooms in Mckinney North High School and provides in-home behavior analytic services for C4CS. She is an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, Southern Early Childhood Association and the Texas Association of Behavior Analysis.
Rachael Minor, ABA Therapist
Rachael received her Bachelor degree of Arts from the University of Mississippi in 2004 and is currently pursuing a degree in early child-hood development. When she moved to Texas, she was introduced ABA by a roommate. She met a couple of families and found her calling. She loves her role and the amazing kids, parents and teams that she gets to work with. She has had the opportunity to work with children of various skill levels and ages from infants to children in middle school in home settings and schools as a shadow. She has implemented programs that focus on many areas of development such as, self-help skills, play skills, communication, behavioral needs, social, emotional and interpersonal skills as well as academic needs. She is an affiliate member of the Texas Association of Behavior Analysis.
Jesse Poff-Hancock, ABA Therapist
Jesse completed her Bachelor degree in Behavior Analysis at the University of North Texas in 2009. She has been helping children with autism ages two to twelve for the last two years. She has provided in-home care through one on one programs and has targeted social and play skill building and integration into peer groups in a transitional classroom program at a local clinic. She has implemented behavior analytic programs across language, motor, imitative, social, play and pre-academic skill areas for C4CS. In addition, she has spent time teaching appropriate replacement behaviors in order to decrease inappropriate behaviors and identifying the functions of problem behaviors through functional assessments. She is a member of the International Association of Behavior Analysis and an affiliate member of the Texas Association of Behavior Analysis. |
