Sports Training

We are excited to be able to offer our clients as well as siblings and other patrons sports training opportunities to help them move from a basic foundation in motor skill training and transition to intermediate to advance motor skills that will prepare them for participating in group activities across various sport activities such as baseball, basketball, soccer and more!

We are pleased to be able to contract these service with our very own Sports Training Specialist, Nick Moses. He brings such an exciting background and is a valuable resource to kids of all ages. As Nick has grown to love ABA, he knows the important value of keeping a balance of making learning fun first and how critical it is to utilize reinforcement procedures to increase skills of all kinds. He is fun, energetic and most of all dedicated to enhancing every child's motor ability.

Nick brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this skill area as he has interfaced with many of our clients on several levels; as well provided community and inner-city baseball clinics for groups, ages 6 to 17 years of age.

Here are some highlights regarding Nick's experience as a Sports Training Specialist:

He is currently a part-time Baseball Scout associate for a Major League Baseball organization.
He currently assists one of their Major League Scouts for the Texas Region in recruiting high school baseball athletes.
He has hosted and provided group and individualized skills training clinics for children of all ages since 2007.
He was drafted by the Major League Baseball organization, the Kansas City Royals, right out of high school in 1996.
He played for Dave Van Horn at Northwestern State (current coach for University of Arkansas at Fayetteville); Rob Childress (current coach for Texas A&M at College Station); and Roger Cador (current coach for Southern University A&M).
In 2000 he led the NCAA Div-I in triples.
